I am selling my bolt action thompson center venture to in seven rem mag. It has the weather shield protective coating, which I can vouch works really well quite a bit better than Blued . It has a synthetic stock with grio panels that I really like. It has a short bolt throw that’s got to be like 55° or something. This bolt is just as smooth as it gets. This rifle has always been accurate to my liking. Thompson Center advertises a three shot one MAO group and I will say that the federal terminal ascent consistently grouped under an inch for three shots. Back when I used to shoot this gun, I was not deep into development or mean radius calculation so I don’t have a super accurate quantification of accuracy potential.
The cheapest 7 rem mag rifle at Cabela’s is 700 right now so I figure this is a pretty good deal for somebody. Looking to take it in to a new rifle.
I just don’t need it anymore, as I am looking to get a 6 mm. And would like to see it kill some animal’s for someone!
About 100 rounds down the tube.
I’m in Renton Washington
Upon request I could add in medium Tallie rings for $50
Two piece scope, mounting Weaver rail $10
Quick claw sling $40
I’ve got about four boxes of different kinds of ammo if you’re interested in those as well
Federal fusion, hornady SST in two weights.
