Hypothetically if the battery would die can you still dial? Is the dial clicks true moa?

I carried spare battery and always change batteries every year in everything. Not clicks just smooth dial until exact yardage or 517 for example

It is a clickless turret but you can still dial it without using the batteries. If the batteries die or you're hunting in a state that doesn't allow the scope you could remove the batteries and run it like a normal scope. It is a bit different since it doesn't click, but it still functions the same. Dial the scope to what your chart says and send it. I keep my chart with me as a backup just in case my battery dies or super cold weather messes with the optic. The HUD makes things very quick when you need things to be.
