Ha, well yes and no. It wasn't a fight and that's not his blood. We watched some guys shoot a doe and gut it. An hour later this guy showed up and was face f*cking the gut pile from the doe. Must have wanted to get a better smell of that bladder in the gut pile.

I was sure wondering what that blood on his face was from. Truth can be wilder than fiction!

You look happier about the goofy one than the big framey sucker.

Did you turn in teeth for the '24 buck? Love to see a deer hit 7.5! That's awesome!

It was a rough go getting that big framed deer. I think i had 48 miles on my feet in a week.
I'll get the teeth aged for this years buck, but don't have the results back yet. I was pretty happy to turn up the buck this year, it was a nasty drought, cattle everywhere and the grasshoppers ate almost every piece of forage.

This local 3 point ditched the headgear side by side the other day.. Saw him bed on private land w horns and come out looking confused w no headgear .. Good width and mass but short forks..

Just poking fun as @chasewild and I have been attempitng to get out for a season for like a decade in here now.. He got bit real hard by that sheep bug as guys sometimes do so its taken a bit.. I would imagine it will happen here in the next few years..

I am lucky enough to have a "inner circle" of 4-5 guys that I am actually honest with and would help out at the drop of a hat w deer. We share intel w great detail among the guys.. There were many years or up until about 2017 I ran totally solo (well shared w the wife and my father) but as I age I realized the need for a group of guys ya trust to bounce things off of or help out when the time comes!
