So I'm running bergara b14 hunter and am consistently getting fliers just on the third shot. At 200 yards, the first two have been within 1.5 inches with the third always jumping an inch away. At 100 yards it's more noticeable with the first two touching and the third being around an inch away. 9/10 groups are like this. Is it because the barrel is just heating up?
It's a 308 and I was shooting either Federal TA, Sig Elite Copper 150gr, or Hornady Precision Hunter.

There is nothing magical about the 3rd shot. It's simply shooting the cone, or group that you and the rifle are capable of. As mentioned above, keep shooting for another 5-8 shots and see where the rest land.

Maybe it's the pressure of the final shot that is the flier. Either way, use a larger sample size.
