Hey to all,
I just inherited a Ruger 375 Hawkeye… question is, “Will it stabilize 350 Barnes TSX or 350 Woodleighs? 23” barrel, 1-12 twist.
Looking for real experience with this.
Thanks, Tom

It might stabilize them, but getting them to fit the magazine and achieve top velocity really limits powder selection. I reloaded 300gr Accubonds for a while. Ideally they should be 3.7” but pushing it back to 3.4” really limited powders that weren’t overly crunchy. The accubonds are really long as the 350 TSX will be as well

Maybe I should leave it as is. I wanted to continue my late Uncle’s project. Already have those bullets that came with the rifle. I also ordered brass and dies. I have a 375 H/H in a Ruger #1, I could use those bullets in it.

I never used the 350's but can share that Big Game was stellar in the Ruger 77 M II I had using 260 gr Accubonds, 270 gr TSX and 300 gr Accubonds. Never needed any other powder and had no issues with the long 300 gr AB in the rifle.
