Just curious as to if anyone has experimented with shooting lighter bullets (140gr) out of a .360 BH lever action. More specifically the Hornady FTXs. The 140 grain is an “handgun” round at .357 diameter. According to XXL reloadings website there is load data for it there. Or would I be better off sticking with the .358 diameter 200gr FTXs. According to shooterscalc, they would have relatively same drop due to BC and speeds. Looking to reload some nasty .360 Buckhammer for Iowa Deer season next year. Max range is 200. Let me know what you think or if you have some good shooting bullets/powders I should look at!
