The 33XC can get me to 3100 FPS with 300 Grain Bergers with a 24” barrel. I would have to push a 338 Terminator with a 28” barrel hard to get that. But the trade off will be barrel life. Not 338 Snipetac bad but it won’t be my daily driver either

Three years later your burning down a 6 UM barrel every other week without any thought

They make new barrels every day and with quality stainless barrels only 400-600$ thats cheap. Iv gone back to stainless/carbon steel cartons wraps just arnt worth it they dont really save weight they typically can't be run as hard and they cost twice as much. The only good thing is it easier to mate a can or larger muzzel break to them.
