.338 win mag 1-12 twist? Too slow?

Bit of an impulse buy, but I’m picking up a Ruger American Go Wild model in .338 win mag this week. I made the mistake of assuming that it was 1-10 twist like most .338 winny’s, but I happened to check the specs today and it’s listed as 1-12 twist. I was hoping to shoot the 230 grain Hornady ELD-ax’s in it. I checked with Hornady and they said minimum twist for that bullet is 1-12, so might be fine. I read that slower twists are good for lighter weight bullets, so I guess I could always drop it down to 200 grain bullets, but the BC on the 230 ELD-X’s are enticing.

Thoughts?

Checked it out and stable with 230 grainers. Would be more stable with 1-10, but I’ll take stable. Thanks.
