Just trying to get an idea but what would a Remington 700 Sendero in 338 RUM with about 100 rounds of brass and dies be worth? There is also a Leupold VX 3 4.5x14x50 with a 30mm sight tube on it now. I bought it new planning to use on a moose hunt that never happened. It also has a break on it. Fluted bull barrel. Less than 50 shots through it. Thank you.

650-675 for the rifle and 375-400 for the scope if both are in vg to ex condition. Perhaps 75 for the brass/dies depending on brand/condition. Perhaps start at 1100 for the package and see what happens.

Ok. Thanks. It’s a gun safe rider. Never leaves except to get cleaned a couple times a year anymore. I am just curious about selling them because I no longer have intentions of keeping them.

$1000 is closer to what I was thinking as well. 2 weeks ago I sold a new 300 RUM Sendero with a 20 MOA Nightforce rail and 25 Nosler brass for $1100. Just my opinion...

Apparently I'm off a bit. I hope you do get what everyone else feels you could. The big RUM must be in more demand by the fewer (relatively speaking) ultra long range hunters of the west. Not so much in Pa though. My custom heavy barrel Remington in 6.5x284 is plenty for LR in Pa. I wouldn't have an issue with popping an elk at 600 with it though.

I was joking with my post...sorta. Sendero rifles bring a good price. Might want to Gunbroker it. mtmuley

I have seen a couple of these rifles go and the 338rum seems to be a quick sell. The last one I saw I believe went for 1000 over on long range hunter forum and went fast with multiple people interested. I have this same rifle.

Seems like new 338 rum brass is non-existant? Does some pop up every now and then?

It's not impossible to find RUM brass if you look. ADG, Nosler, Bertram and Remington is available, although Remington headstamp is scarce. I see it for dale on LRH from time to time. mtmuley

I believe you can also buy 300rum brass and size/trim for the 338. so far i have not had to do that, i bought quite a bit of nosler factory ammo on sale so i have a decent amount of nosler brass after i eventually burn through all that ammo.
