307 Range XP Bottom Metal Conversion

I have a Weatherby 307 Range XP, the original with the green stock. It takes a AICS 3.715”magazine. It has the Magpul bottom metal on it. I was given a Bergara bottom metal with a hinged floor plate that fits, it just doesn’t feed rounds properly. I’m assuming because I do not have an internal box magazine in it.

Will a LA Remington 700 box magazine work?
Has anyone converted the 307 to a hinged floor plate without changing the stock?

Disregard, I saw that their standard long action is the same as the original bottom metal.
