Up for sale is my Christensen Arms Ridgeline in 300WSM. It has a 24” barrel. This rifle has 256 rounds down the barrel. I have rung steel at 1,000yards with ease, also worth mentioning that this year this rifle has killed 2 bull moose (my dad used it on his too), 1 Dall ram, 2 bull caribou, couple black bears, and was used to stop a charging grizz when we were quartering out one of the moose. I’ve only had it for about 10 months but I did buy it brand new. The gun works and works pretty damn well I might add. I was very VERY impressed with CA on this one, however, I’ve recently switched to Zermatt Origins (1 LA, 1 SA) and I’m doing so, I have no need for other rifles, just barrels…..which is a good thing and a bad thing (just spent way too much $ on 300wsm prefits for next year)…..but all in all, this rifle is a great piece of kit, I just don’t need it anymore and it’s got a decent amount of life left in it!
- 200gr Nosler Partitions absolutely hammer (killed everything almost on the spot), 200gr ELD-X shoot super well, 220gr ELD-X shoot incredibly well (1000yrd hits 9/10 shots) —— I didn’t have great luck with 200gr Nosler Accubonds though, and 200gr Barnes LRX weren’t that great either.
- The stock, custom painted utilizing the camo pattern I like to call Caribou Lichen. It took about 4 hours to do the right way. Used sea sponges (apparently that’s what MCS uses) and used a layer technique that made everything mold together without bleeding any color into another. It looks pretty rad.
- The cheek piece is just held on with velcro, it can be removed no problemo, just unpeel the Velcro and it’s good as new.
- I have a Hawk hill bolt knob on it now, it’s insanely fast to cycle the bolt, and I’m including a small badger knob as well
- Area 419 Pic mount bedded into the stock and the machining Is incredible how there are no sharp edges at all, works great too!
