300gr thor hammer for cow moose

I drew a colorado cow moose muzzleloader tag. I have a knight disc extreme with the 209 primer setup and blackhorn 209 powder. I've had the muzzleloader for 4-5 years now and have never shot anything with it. I got the sizing pack of thor bullets and properly sized the bullet I needed .501 300 gr hammer. Do you guys think this bullet would be sufficient enough to take out a cow moose? I already have a 50 pack of bullets bought. Other option i was thinking about was going the no excuses 460gr route. What do you guys think?

The Thor will get it done, have a buddy that killed his bull with that bullet. I use that bullet, haven’t shot a moss with it but it shot very good for me.

I'm planning on the 300gr thor bullet for my bull Moose tag this year...have been impressed with the 250gr thor bullet, but figured i'd try the heavier option for moose
