How do you like the recoil

Its a 6cm, very shoot able with the can. Jump up to 50% more powder, 2x bullet weight, 3x more recoil of the WSM, it'll be a different story. Perhaps more manageable with a magnus-RR suppressor or similar braked can. It'd be difficult to self spot shots in any position but prone.

I have a lighter weight 7lrm, which has 5gr more capacity than a WSM, pushing 175gr bullets. It's not bad recoil wise it's a slow push, but tracking the bullet is difficult unless prone, past 400y and on lower magnification.

Do you run suppressed by chance? pretty much made up my mind to run the 20" over the 22" - will run a suppressor on it and not giving up enough fps to where i'll appreciate the 2"

I have a Tikka T3 300WSM cut to 20".
With a DD LTi, I get almost 3100fps with 165gr Barnes over H4350.

I just did a 6cm 20" carbon, bastion, lpa fuzion ti, this is too light a rifle for anything over 6.5cm in my opinion.

i have a custom 300wsm weights only 5.2oz i think its fine to shoot.
