300 wsm ammo feedback

Hi, looking at Federal Terminal Ascent 200g and Remington Premier Swift Scirocco Bonded 180. Nice to see anything other than 150g back in stock at not totally unreasonable prices.

Anyone have any feedback on accuracy and killing ability on elk (max distance 500yds, ok maybe 600..., but most likely 2-300)? This will be out of a tikka t3x/24" proof carbon 1-10 prefit.

Check the Federal site for the Terminal ascent. It’s like $80/20rds. Stupid expensive. I want the bullets to reload myself.

I found some Norma Bondstrikes but they are $80/20rds too.

Just keep looking online daily. If you want Federal Fusion or some Winchester stuff, then it’s available on Ammoseek.

I have reloading equipment so I’m going to reload for it. I want to shoot enough to get good with this caliber and not put myself in the poor house too.

both the terminal ascent and scirocco are showing on ammoseek as "relatively" inexpensive. i'm just trying to find out how accurate and deadly they are.
