What's your choice for a lever action scope (30-30)?

I've used several over the years, but what say you?

Leupold vx freedom 2-7x33 might not be a bad choice if you can find one. Or maybe the same one in the rimfire model where the parallax is set at 60 yards. I believe all the centerfire scopes w/o parallax adjustment are set at 150. It might be different for a 2-7x but I'm not sure.

I should've mentioned this scope is only $200.

Guys on here talked me into a SWFA ultralight, $250 on Black Friday sale. Bought another to put on my 35 Rem and would definitely recommend for a 30-30.

I put a 2-7x on mine and am switching it back to irons. The utility of a lever gun I think really shines without glass.

primary arms 1-6 with the kiss reticle. Only if you must have a scope. Another good option is a LER scope like the burris or leupold scout options.

I am going to run irons while I can but if I had to scope one, FX11 2.5x20 with a heavy duplex or #4 reticle mounted as low as possible. 1.5-5 or 1.25-4.5 would be second choice and a fixed 4x or 2-7 would be 3rd. definitely do not want a 30mm tube or large objective lense and if I need to adjust parallax I probably want a different rifle so you can keep that too. Half tempted to get a micro red dot and try it for future lever carbine use if my eyes start to go bad. I don't want my lever top heavy.
