2nd Rifle CO GMU 25 26

Going into the Flat Tops for 2nd rifle muley hunting and have a chance to go scout weekend of August 12-15th. I know it's early but just want to see what's in there as I've no experience in this area. I understand the winter kill of '23 was harsh. Not expecting too much. Cross referencing with On X & On X Back Country thinking about taking the loop trail that goes up high to Devils Causeway thinking I'll be able to see down into some valleys. Open to intel and advice. If nothing else it'll be a good exercise in late fall backpacking with potential weather.

I could be mistaken, but based on your response I’m guessing that you read #2 in the first section, not the second section — it’s long, I know. I’m talking about #2 in the section titled “GENERAL ETIQUETTE REGARDING SHARING OF INFORMATION”.

I read it back when I joined a few months ago. Read a bunch but never posted so simply forgot. Doesn't hurt to review from time to time. Feeling like a stupid noob. Wish I could take it down. Live and learn. Sorry for the affront.

You generally won’t get any unit specific info here, but it sounds like you’re doing the right things (escouting & boots on the ground) for starting to learn your hunt area. Good luck!
