I’ve got a 22” Bartlien 3b 8.7 twist and 5/8-24 at the muzzle chambered in 284 win. Had it in on long action Win model 70.
1-16 thread. Fired 200 rounds if I remember right. Never got it to feed right so I took the barrel off and kept it.

Bought a “used/new” tikka in 22-250 with thoughts of using the action as a donor for the 284 barrel.(long action/bolt stop, mags) I decided to shoot it first and it’s one of my most accurate rifles, kept it as a 22-250.

Now I want to ditch my 284 barrel, Peterson brass and Hornady dies to fund a Nosler M21.

Talk me out of it….or into it….

I guess I have to ask. Why would you want a Nosler N21?

I have a 284 on a Tikka. It's a perfect match for a long action conversion. Since I built it I've decided it's a little high recoiling and lower MV and wind performance than it's worth. I really like the case design - I think it's the best high capacity standard bolt face case design period. But I think 6.5, 25, or 6-284 would be better.

I dont know anybody running a 284. Nosler pisses me off with their overpriced 50 bullets per box stuff. Dunno why you would want an action from them.
