You can get lots of current load data for 280ai on Hodgdon and Noslers website for free with lots of powder choices. Note, for load data from bullet manufacturers, their load data is specific to their bullets. For generic 160gn bullets most of the load data in books are the same as Hodgdons. You'll probably get more free information from other powder brands websites too. Theirs hardly a need to buy or ask to see copyrighted load data anymore.

I will I have all the hornady. I have several newer nosler. The lee reloading book has 280AI. But the Berger doesn't. Sierra has some. Hodgdon has a bunch.

I don’t think I’ve ever used data from my manual. I’ve always gone to Hodgdon or Nosler’s site. I usually try to use a couple sources as some may be quite different with max loads.

Check Hodgdon, Nosler, Barnes (if shooting them), and hornady websites. All the info you need is there.

My pet load for my 280ai is 59gr H4831sc with a 160gr partition. I've yet to have a deer take a step after being hit with that. When I run out of 4831 I will be moving to N560. Been making the switch to VV powders recently with good results plus it seems to always be cheaper than the others.

#5 . I have one or 2 more manuals somewhere. I bought Speer's newest one. Just for 280AI load data. It has 0 loads for 280AI. Been better off buying Sierra #6 edition. Look on ebay. U can pick the Sierra #5 up half price. Tons of load data. They give a hunting load. And they give a accuracy load. Sierra is worth the money. Manuals with 280AI load data.

Lee (yes)
Berger (No)
Sierra (#5 & 6) yes
Nosler (yes)
Hornady (#11) yes

I don't have a Barnes manual. Not a fan of the copper bullets. Never had to use them. Look on hodgdon website. It's all free load data.
