280 AI die set

I just picked up a 280 AI and have been looking at sets and reading what others say they use. What have you had the most consistent results with? Basic standard set or micrometer, neck tensioner etc?

I have never had any issue with Forster, the basic or micrometer set

The main thing to be aware of is if your rifle is SAAMI reamed or if you’ve got an older chamber. There are numerous previous 280 AI reamers out there - been there done that.

I believe it was Nosler that submitted and got the SAAMI version approved and it is slightly different from the original dimensions that PO Ackley used.

It’s a new rifle so SAAMI for sure
