This gun was built during COVID and since then my preferences have shifted to short barrels and short actions. This gun just doesn't get any use anymore. It has seen load work up, piled up a few whitetail and mule deer over a couple seasons, then sat in the safe. Specs and money into the gun are below:

Zermatt SR3 Action - $1400
Alterra stock (was Axial Preciesion at the time) - $700
Area 419 brake - $170
Proof 24" 280 AI 1:8 barrel - $0 (see below)
TriggerTech Special - $180
Hawkins Precision M5 Oberndorf Bottom Metal - $230
Hawkins Ultralight 30mm Low - $185
Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x44 - $900

My total cost - $3765

Now about the $0 Proof barrel. I lucked into a blem barrel for near nothing, and I figured I'd build a rifle around it. It has a mile of freebore. I'm seating 180 ELD at the boattail junction and still jumping them .170". The round count is 239 rounds, so the barrel has a ton of life left in it. Decades if you're just hunting. But you won't be able to seat bullets close to the lands unless you have a gunsmith punch out the chamber to a longer 7mm cartridge.

The gun shoots very well with factory and hand loads. I can share load data and include Redding dies if you plan to hand load.

$2750 via certified bank check. I'll cover shipping costs. Gun ships in a hard sided case to your FFL.

Only trades are Swaro glass.

It looks like you’ve got enough shank to potentially set back a thread and re-chamber 280 AI again, too?

Either way, very nice rifle!
