28 Nosler Rifle Recommendations

Looking for a new hunting rifle in 28 Nosler. Like to keep the price at or below $1500. Have heard mixed reviews on Christensen. Anybody have experience with the X-Bolts? Thanks.

I have owned both. I have several christensens, 6.5 PRC, 308, 280AI, 300 prc. All have been amazing shooters. Most of the bad reviews are from several years ago. They brought their barrel manufacturing in house and had better control over QC and it seems like there are very few issues with them since then. They also have an accuracy guarantee, so very little risk. I recently bought a 280AI in the ridgeline FFT. Had a really hard bolt lift. Their CS was amazing - they replaced the trigger spring, gave the gun a good look over and had it back to me pretty quick.

My xbolts have all been good shooters as well. I had a 270wsm, 7mm wsm, 7mm rm and 25-06. I dont love the xbolt stock, but that is personal preference.
