277 150 gr Berger Hybrid Target

What would you expect for hunting with a bullet like this at 6.8 Western speeds? Obviously not out yet but in similar cartridges in other calibers what have you seen from the Hybrid Target bullets? Thanks.

Kind of on the light side in my opinion. They have the 170 EOL already. I haven’t run any ballistics on them to compare, but 150 is kind of standard fare for the 270s.

I do have some 170's to try just haven't had the chance to load them yet. Those new 150's are interesting though and from what I understand they have a thicker jacket.

@Lou270 not sure if you saw this but looks like Berger developed this for the 277 Fury. Should be an excellent choice for the other fast twist 270's out there like the 6.8 W and custom guns.

I agree. Speer also released a 150
Speer Impact with similar BC if not seen it
