.270win 25 yard zero ? ?

There’s no 100yard range around here, only a indoor 25
So I assume —.45 @ 25 will put me on about zero @ 200 yards
130gr @ 3080fps BC .458

I just want to get it approximated till I can get to a better range @ the mertz 09 ranch range .

Pretty sure at 25 yards you want to be whatever your scope over bore is to be close at 100 but I’m no expert and haven't tried it. So like 1.5”-2” low

Dead on at 25 will likely be again correct elevation around 225 yards with medium hight mounts and a 40-44mm objective scope

This -> 25 should get you on paper at 100.

I usually start at about 25 yds on a 4ftx4ft piece of cardboard and get it close to the mark, then move out to 100 and it is usually around there somewhere. Then 200 yards is about 4-6 inches low if i'm an inch or so high at 100.

Nice little scope - should work out fine. IMO, no way a 25 zero is good for much more than getting on paper at 100.
