I'm looking to see if anyone has any experience with pushing the 270 ELD-X out of a 338 WM. I have a Sako 85 that has a ton of mag length and was looking at going to a heavier lead bullet for larger wound tracks than the TTSX's I'm using now. Rifle is a 1:10 twist so should be able to stabilize the 270gr's. Application will be moose and bison, BC has a requirement for 175gr bullet or greater and 2000ft/lbs at 100 yards for bison so I can't just shoot it with my 280 AI.
