260 ai Reamer spec and load data

I plan on throating this barrel. I need to find some 144gr and 156gr bergers after a good 100 rounds down the barrel.

Factory Barnes Precision Match 140gr ammo. Lapua brass
2625 fps avg on 10 shots
Walked the scope over and had two in the same hole.
will shoot a few three round groups every evening till I get to 100 rounds or fire formed brass. Then load some 153.5 gr bergers with H4831SC

Those cases look a lot like the difference between 257 Roberts and 257AI, quite the change. Some aren't quite as dramatically changed.

I’ve been working with my 22 inch WTO 260 AI I picked up at LRH. I’m not sure the free bore but seems appropriate for my intended bullet, 140 HT or 130 Berger AR. I just finished fire forming 100 pieces of alpha SRP brass, H4350 41.0 gr @ 2620 or so. About to start w/up a load for my pronghorn hunts 2026, some pressure around 44 gr @2820. Going to try RL23/H4831 SC or N560 and see, was hoping to be closer to 2900, lets see. Shoots amazing though!
