@cal30_sniper @hdc77 what is each of your guys initial process for necking down virgin brass? Neck sizing? Using Redding fl die? I’m looking to dip my toes in the water with wildcatting. Trying to find somewhere where all my stupid/basic questions can be answered

For this one I’ve been going through a 25-300 seating die followed by a 25-300 resizing die, set just to bump the shoulder for my chamber. On second firings I’ll likely go to a bushing die with a mandrel.

None that I’ve found

I started with 270 WSM virgin brass, Norma, and single pass through Redding 25/300 WSM die, afterwards expanded neck with a mandrel. It worked well, don’t have the barrel anymore.
