25 creedmoor enough juice?

I'd say get a 6 Creedmoor instead. Better bullet selection, better brass availability, and factory ammo is available.

It’s hard to argue with that logic. But by the same token, couldn’t the same be said about making the move from 6mm CM to 6.5 CM?

What do you think has more wind deflection at similar velocity? 180gr 30 cal bullet or a 135gr .257 bullet?
I know what you’re saying but why do people compare the highest bc of one caliber to the lowest in another for a comparison? If you are talking bc’s why choose a 180gr in a 30 cal for comparison? If you want apples to apples jump that 30 cal up to at least a 208gr and then compare.

With that said, most will shoot that smaller caliber better anyway. 25’s to 6.5 seem like ideal sheep guns to me.

These posts are silly. I got a mature Aoudad with a 6.5cm. 1 shot through the lungs, he went down. 190-200 yards. Even if I blew the shot I could have shot again & again.

Any caliber works through the lungs.
