I had an old 22-250 ai sitting in my safe that had about 2100 rounds through it and was starting to open up. Thought long and hard about what to do with it and landed after much fun research on building a 25 Creedmoor and running the Berger 135 Hybrid Target. First time using the bullet line....usually run the VLDH's
6.5 case is really efficient and I love my 6 CM - so natural progression and ability to use the same Howa 1500 action. Good action that I trued and then built the rifle around it.

Went through all the ladder, load and group tests. Started with the Berger suggested development and added my own twist that has worked with other rifles.

This could be the most efficient combination that I have ever run. Fortunate to have a few rifles that get <10 SD but this one surprised me! 2.6 SD!!!

Here is the build:
Howa 1500 action - trued
Kahles K624i scope
MDT XRS hybrid chassis
Bart 26" in 7.25 twist
Chambered with a 291/117 freebore reamer
Alpha brass - trimmed down .002 thou and chamfered - i trim them and measure to ensure consistency
Turned down to .145 neck thickness
H4350 - landed at 42.4 grains
Berger 135 Target hybrid
2960 FPS with an SD of 2.6

Thought I would share, since this is the best i have ever gotten.
