25 cal question

I have a 25-06 that I use and love the cartridge. I was thinking about looking into an Ackley but was also curious if anyone has ever necked down a 7mm remington magnum case to accept the 25 bullets and what kind of accuracy and velocity did you experience? Or is there already something like this or is the ackley the more efficient version close to this ? Was just looking at my brass collection and I have a ton of 7mm magnum brass leftover

This would be a 257 Weatherby mag. You can make 257 brass from 7mm rem mag very easily.

Got it. So if one were to do this that is the correct barrel chambering to get? Sounds good man. Appreciate the help. I’ll have to mess with it a bit
