Yes! I wanted to build a SAUM but don’t have the bolt face for it plus all the other projects so it has not happened yet. Keep us updated on the build!
This one should be a little faster than the saum. Has a bit more case volume. I will for sure, id probably even loan the reamer out after I get my barrel chambered if a guy wanted to use it.

A short fat magnum that will push the 130 class bullets around 3100 fps out of a 20 inch barrel
I'd imagine a SAUM improved like the 6 UM but necked up to 25 cal would get you there.

This weekend took this deer at 669 yards with the eld m hitting at 2330fps went through, but beat him up pretty good. He only went maybe 70 yards but it was straight down hill on a steep slope.

Muzzle velocity 134 eld m 3240fps 7.5 twist.

What about the new Sierra 131gr which looks to be the same as the 131 Blackjack, anyone shooting those yet and how do/would they compare to the Berger or ELD-M as a hunting bullet?

I have some but don't have anything to shoot them in yet since my 25 SAUM isn't done.
I just killed a Ky 10 pointer(~250 Lbs) with one this week. It was a fairly short shot(182 yds) and the buck ran about 100 yds, 50 downhill and the last 50 mostly falling down the side of a steep hill. It had a tennis ball sized exit hole with an excellent blood trail. The rifle is a 25CM spun up by Brian Allen shooting the 131s at 3025 using RL26.

How long is your barrel?
