25-06 Tikka

Anyone seen anyone 25-06 Tikkas floating around? I got a wild hair since I have a spare stockys in the safe but they seemed to have all disappeared.

Man I just picked up a basically unused SS barrel on eBay. They pop up just need to keep an eye out

Gunbroker had one a few months ago in a BC stock SS as well.

Few on eBay from J&A outdoors but they wildly over price barrels compared to others

My brother, I have Gunbroker on a homescreen quick link, it was simply the moral thing to do. Besides, I'd actually been looking at 25-06 Tikkas there a week or two ago, with thoughts of getting one rechambered to 25-06AI.

did they continue that chambering in the T3x line up? I assumed any thing available would be a T3 platform.

My buddy has one in a t3 hunter. I found it at a gun shop and told him about it and he went and bout it the next day.
He has it threaded for a can and loves the thing. It shoots very well.
Long live the 25-06.

There’s a blue T3 (not t3x) that’s been on a local classified for a bit ($800 with a a Burris on it). I can send you a link if you want it.

I went through this very search a couple years ago. Nothing on Gunbroker or guns.com. Nothing in any of the major distributors. It took me six months, but I located one in a small gun shop in Iowa. It was the T3 Hunter with the deluxe wood. It had clearly been on the rack for a while because the stock was dry-checked. If I remember correctly, I got it for $600 when new T3X was going for ~ $750. I gave it a couple coats of dark walnut stain and it looks beautiful.

I know I got lucky, but you never know when the effort might pay off. Try searching for individual gun shops and, if available, check their inventory.

Agreeing within statements above, these are really nice shooting pieces. I’ve developed three different loads that all consistently shoot 0.5” groups. That is better than my other two Tikkas.
