Wolves kinda killed our hunt in unit 6 this year. Heard them the first evening then watched them on a kill the next morning. I lived in north park for several years and I won’t be going back. So you all can have one less hunter to compete against on the OTC hunts.

If you still want to hunt it I would suggest getting as far as possible from a road. The last two years have been a complete $h!t show.

Dang. We’re getting an early start on the “where do I hunt” threads this year!

While we’re at it, will someone give me coordinates to an open hillside in Wyoming that will have a bear on it in mid may? Shot distance between 100-600 yards preferrred. I have on-X so that’s the preferred method of coordinate sharing.

"Broadly," access points concentrate hunting pressure. Success rates are low and the beetle kill is thick. Wolves are present and private land holds animals all year. I suppose it could be worse if you could add grizzlies and/or hippies.

Not far from the truth. You can get into them, no doubt, but to do it consistently takes a ton of work in my experience.
