243 need substitute bullet for 95g VLDs

Since I have not seen a box of these on the shelves or for sale anywhere I guess I need to find a substitute bullet for my daughters deer rifle. The shit-T part is this gun has a turret cut for the Berger VLD load. This is a factory rem 1-9.25 barrel (custom chamber) that shoots the Bergers under 1/2 all day.

Another issue, trying to find those isn't easy either. I'm also wondering about the 90g Sierra Game Changers.

If you can get the 90g gamechangers I would try them. They shot good in my daughters Remington 700 243. That load is with varget and cci200 .020 off the lands.

Thanks, I got em inbound. I will give them a shot with my tried and true H4350 load. Hopefully it works well.

A bit older bullet that you may be able to find more easily is the Sierra 85gr Gameking (1530). I've been loading these for quite awhile and had great luck out of 6 or 7 different .243s with 1:9-1:10 barrels.

Try 85 grain Barnes TTSX or a 90 grain Nosler partition.
