Took a look at both The Farmers Almanac and The Olde Farmers Almanac and both predicted about the same winter. Looks like another colder and snowier winter than normal for Montana, the Dakotas, Wyoming, and Colorado.
Last year the snows came through in the beginning of the season like a hurricane and were gone in a blink, then almost instantly the honkers showed up. Usually don’t see those guys until a little later.
Do you guys think the goose/duck hunting will be similar this year in the eastern plains?
I suppose the only bad thing last year was field access after the snow got too high and NEVER left.
I don’t know what the point of this post was. I’m just excited for goose and duck season. It’s almost here!
