Ace 16.5" 7.5tw tikka sporter contour 5/8x24, Tikka prefit by Unknown Munitions, has around 240-250 rounds through it. Comes with 199 pieces of Alpha brass, 50 of them loaded. Barrel has a couple small nicks in it from field carry. The pic of a group is from this barrel. $750 $650 shipped for brass+barrel

PVA 16.5" 7tw 3b contour 5/8x24, Tikka prefit. Has 105 rounds through it. Comes with 200 pieces of Alpha brass. 100 sized/primed, 30 loaded. Barrel has a few scratches in it from being in the safe and getting bumped by other things coming in/out. I don't have any pics of groups from this barrel, but I do recall the one 10 round group I put on paper was right around 1moa. $750 $650 shipped for brass+barrel

Have another box of 99 pieces of 1x fired Alpha brass. $80 shipped

Any of the missing primers are from decapping to ensure proper measurement for shoulder bump, they were not blown from overpressure loads or anything.

2970 on the Ace. I don't think I chrono'd the PVA much since it was just getting broke in, but should be about the same, 2950ish

What is the headspace on both of these?

Was the UM barrel chambered before or after they replaced their reamer?
UM barrel was chambered in early June of 2024, not sure if that was before or after they replaced their reamer. Is measuring fired brass adequate for a headspace number? I can grab the measurements at the .375 and .400 datum, as well as measurements at those datums on my go gauge for reference and post that in a few minutes.

Just looked back at your posts and saw that the PVA is .100 and you were gonna order the UM at .120. 👌🏼

I’m not that technical to know what to do with those datum line measurements haha

Ooohhhhh, you mean freebore. I was like, dang you're getting technical!

Anyway for anyone interested, after measuring the fired brass to get what is basically an estimate on headspace, PVA is .001" longer than my Clymer go gauge. UM is .004" longer than my Clymer go gauge. For reference, my no-go gauge is .006" longer than the go gauge. So basically, the PVA is a bit more of a "tight" chamber, and the UM is a bit more of a "loose" chamber.

Copy that. My fault. I meant freebore. Anyhow I may be interested in the UM barrel. Still waiting on mine from UM. It's been 6 months so far. I'll mull it over.

No worries, helped me get more details out. It's easy to forget just how many details there are to a barrel lol
