Any particular weight? The 22-250 with Barnes varmint grenades is pretty impressive.
100gr eld-vt does the opposite of pencil.your rifle will tell you what it likes best. my standard coyote round for 20 inch bolt action/16 inch AR-15 is a 60 grain ballistic tip from Underwood. My second favorite round is a 55 grain soft point Speer Gold Dot. for my AR-15 pistons in 12.5in, I'm partial to 75 grain gold dots, and Hornady 75 grain sbr. I run a thermal on my standard bolt gun, and it's amazing what a Vmax round will do. I don't take hides, only lives. I've used a 243 and a 2250, I just prefer a 223 on coyotes out to 250 yds.
so far this year I've killed 67 coyotes all with 223; 3 additional with a 65 Creedmoor as I was hog hunting and they walked in my crosshairs. I don't recommend a 6.5 for yotes as the round can pencil through smaller ones.
50 grain shoots best in my gun but they offer a 36 that would be great if you could get it to shoot.Any particular weight?
