.22

No first hand knowledge yet, but I am pretty intrigued by Unknowns offerings of the Midge and the Gnat. Not a ton of information out there on them but one of my hunting partners has one coming so hopefully will be able to speak on it more soon. The lightweight and free cleaning is sort of the cherry on top for me.
I started the process on a Midge on Saturday. It may be a month or so until I can shoot it since I put it in a trust. Holding it in the shop though, it felt very light.
I don't have any experience with the Mask, but I have shot the Thunderbeast 22. It's a nice suppressor as well, but it is heavier that what Unknown is now making.

Dead Air Mask or TBAC 22 Takedown Gen2 ??
The only two .22 cans I have experience with is the DA Mask and SilencerCo Sparrow. I have two masks and really like them. My brother has the sparrow. The mask is quite a bit quieter and the first round pop is night and day difference.

hard to beat the sico switchback too. needed a shorter can for my bobcat and the switchback in short config fit the bill.

not silent by any means in the short config on this short barrel pistol but still plenty safe enough for a mag dump or two. if you needed it quieter in the short config for limited use you could just run it wet. when i first got it i coated the entire inside in some clp and it wasn't far off from my full size sparrow

If you like the mask, take a look at the DD road hunter, it’s sort of an upgraded/improved mask. Similar design but quieter and lighter since it’s full titanium where the mask has steel baffles. I have a mask and a road hunter and the road hunter seems better in every way.
