Seems the suppression might be a little worse through a 6.5 can, but def smaller size and weight. If I were getting a new can, I'd probably be looking at an Airlock 6.5 or Reaper.
My 22 Creeds sounds great through my .30 cal Gunwerks 8ights and Scythe Ti. I'm sure a 6.5 suppressor (and below) would probably be better.

Here’s an example from above test sample
Ran outside city limits for a quick test. The meter was acting a little funny and threw a few random high numbers during testing. I was short on time, but here are some quick 3-shot averages from a 16" .22 Creedmoor.
The Nano did throw one random 137 dB (skewing the average) reading that seems off, but I’m sharing the numbers regardless.
ZG 30 - 129.8 dB(A)
ZG 6.5 – 128.6 dB(A)
Harvester Evo – 133.2 dB(A)
Nano – 135.5 dB(A)
I’ll repeat the test later, not in a canyon on the side of the road.
I think you misunderstood my post. Here’s an example from above test sample:
6.5 lowest at 128.6. = fairly quiet
22 can at 135.5 = mmmmm?
You be the judge. Remember dba numbers are not linear.
My opinions & non professional random thoughts:
What we need in the market is a suppressor optimized for the larger cartridges in a given caliber.
Not the opposite as in a 22 can for small 22 cases being utilized by the larger 22’s
Or 30 cal cans being utilized for smaller calibers
Do they work ? Yes ….but not optimal.
Sometimes the trade offs in the current market place are choosing between a can marketed as either Hunting, Light weight, short, small, large, quietest, etc.
The search continues.
Yes, you do lose some efficiency when running an over bore suppressor on a smaller cartridge. They’re typically still quieter than smaller .22 suppressors, but that’s mostly because volume becomes a bigger factor than efficiency. Then is it safe to say that the larger bore cans are not optimized for 22 & are allowing more gases to escape thus making them louder even tho they have more volume. ?
Would a larger volume can optimized for 22 compare favorable to the nano. ?
Your 6.5 can showed favorable results in comparison,
Earlier when I inquired into a recommendation for the same 18” 22 creed I believe your response was your 6.5 or the 30 for maximum suppression.
What kind of numbers did the Nano and the 30 show this time around on the 22 creedmoor?I included that unusually high, random dB reading earlier for the sake of transparency, but after revisiting it I don’t believe it was an accurate. I just re-metered a Nano against three full-size .30 caliber suppressors, including an Ultra 7, and it was quieter than all of them except our own ZG 30. Host rifle was a 16” 22 Creedmoor.
