Assuming you have proper skill, bullet selection, ideal shot scenario, I’m curious what people think about this.

I've got a particular spot where I see bears every spring, 500 yards +or-. Would take this shot with a 22-250 AI Shooting 80s @3200?

I used my 22-250 AI for a Wyoming deer hunt a couple seasons ago. Shot a buck at 315 yards with the 88 Gr ELDM and he went down pretty fast.

If the right bullet is hitting at enough velocity, without a doubt I would.

I killed a nice pronghorn with a 22-250 and 60 grn partitions at 285 yards. Hit him perfectly broadside and double lunged him he went straight down. I recovered the bullet on the off side and it mushroomed perfectly and was at least 85% weight retention.
