Please forgive me for my lack of knowledge as this is my first rifle build.
I purchased the following components for my rifle build.
11/22 Fletcher open top receiver
Magpul backpacker breakdown stock
Kids bolt, buffer tube, and handle/spring.
Ruger trigger bx-22 trigger assembly
Beter fluted .22 barrel
Otter Creek Lab titanium suppressor.
I finally built the rifle and set out this past weekend to try it out. I inserted a ruger OEM 10 round clip in the rifle, I noticed right away that it didn’t feel secure (locked in place). Slight hand manipulation and it will come right out. Is this normal? Upon inserting the mag, I tried racking the bolt but it keeps hitting the top of the magazine and won’t fully cycle the round into the chamber. I’m sure this is obvious to most, but what I am doing wrong here ?
