22-250 converted to 22 Creedmoor

You can use 6rd or 6.5 crd brass. But several ppl including Hornady make brass. I reccomend Alpha or Peterson

Who did you use to do the conversion? You're using the stock Tikka barrel, right?

Send to a reputable smith and they can rechamber it for you using the factory barrel.

Kampfeld Customs did mine. Wonderful work. Had him cut to 18” and thread at the same time. Stock 1:8 22-250 Tikka barrel.

My opinion would be unless you know a guy that will do the work for you cheap and quick you are going to spend a bunch of money for a slight gain. I have shot 22 250, 22 250ai and 22 creed. Unless I had money to burn I would either shoot the 22 250 till it was burnt out or buy a used tikka as cheap as I could with proper bolt and mags and rebarrel. Depending on what weight bullets you want to shoot the re chamber of a factory barrel may not work for you.

The ballistics of the 22 Creed are way better than the 22-250. The 22AI is closer to the 22 Creed.
