I feel like the same could be said for the 257RPM, expensive(more-so than 7BC) solution in search of a problem. But in reality most any cartridge introduced after about 1970(maybe earlier) is a solution in search of a problem.....yet new cartridges are introduced every year, many of them are here to stay. Even 6.8W is showing significant signs that it might just survive.

savage released a bunch of their new rifles in 6.8western, I think weatherby is chambering it too. Just need more ammo manufactures

I do think the 6.8 is going to survive, the online pundits have been pushing it hard.

Could well be an intro price. ISTR the Ranger 3k was available at $599 when it first launched. Now it's $700+.

They said they would have the Raven, RokStok Lite, and new 6mm OG available to view at the Hunt Expo. I believe they also noted they would open RokStok Lite and 6mm OG orders that weekend as well
