2026 SHOT SHOW releases

Browning told me last year they will be releasing the Xbolt2 adjustable stock in left hand. No idea of camo colors or chamberings. They can be slow to act at times but as a lefty, I simply love their guns

I am interested to see if there are any new high pressure case designs. Would love to see something similar to a high pressure 6mm ARC.

I'm dreaming of a 6mm ARC ar rifle and magazine scaled up appropriately to the cartridge. Last year Magpul announced the magazines, but I want to see a scaled up bolt and barrel extension that can handle higher pressures.

All I want is ...

  • Tikka in 6MM Creed
  • RokScope
  • Hornady to make ready-rolled 130 gr 6.5 Creed ELD-Ms (for the reduced recoil and increased velocity compared to heavier ELD-Ms, and better BC than the 129 SSTs).

And I promise I'd be happy.

Oh, and Staccato should bring back the carry options they discontinued.

It'd be nice if Browning did anything besides an annual release of camo patterns.

Are we looking at the same list of X-Bolts as there are 38 different models shown and quite a few new guns last year that weren’t offered previously. Carbon Fiber barrels and several more models that take AICS mags are the two big ones that stick out to me.

Now if you said Winchester I would fully agree with you there.

I have heard rumors of shell shock doing 6 arc cases. We will see…

I would buy a Winchester Featherweight if they offered versions with threaded barrels. All they have to do is copy the new Tikka barrel profile.

Not to derail the thread, but are the 130 eldms as effective as the 140s? I feel like I've only seen people talking about the 140s on here.

Hornady make 130 ELD-M projectiles, but not factory-made ammo - likely hence the more frequent discussion of the 140 grainers.

However, a few key people have spoken about the noticeable recoil reduction, and increased ability to spot shots, between 140 and 130 in the 6.5 that I think Hornady could do well with that combination. I get that it pulls it away from the 'heavy for caliber' end of the spectrum, but others such as Frank have commented on the benefits of the increased velocity.

Their warranty on the 10k gen2s is good for electro optics. Have used. Had new binos shipped promptly.
Good to hear on that. This is what made me realize their "Infinite Warranty" was VERY limited. I'm OK with if I drop them I should pay to fix them, but they can't even fix them...

My “super stabilized mode” (or whatever they call it) does not work. I’m planning to contact them at some point when I’m bored over the next couple months. I will post how that experience goes.
