I'm already looking ahead to 2026 and considering a pronghorn hunt in either Co or Wy. I've read some horror stories about an ocean of blaze orange and Mad Max running down herds and what not. Is it reasonably possible to not have this experience in Wy or Co with 6 and 5 points respectively? Dont need a B&C buck, just decent number of animals to look at and not be in a parking lot.

I have 3 friends from out of state that came out and antelope hunted with me in Wyoming 2 years ago, in a 1 point unit. We only hunted public land, and never saw another hunter for the 3 days that it took to fill all our licenses. Wyoming, Yes.

I’ve been in SW Wyoming for the last 4 days. Saw some hunters, but most of them were deer hunting. Usually if they saw our truck from far off they turned around. Where we were you could see another vehicle for miles. Only saw a few guys looking for antelope. Everyone was very friendly that we spoke to. Our unit took 8 pts. We saw far less other hunters than I expected.
