First time I've drawn a not first choice unit in AZ. Looks like my little band is going to 10. Now to decide what to bring to camp this year. Leaning truck camping but might drag the wall tent out if a couple of the other guys don't have a camp setup, rather hunt with guys who got decent sleep and didn't freeze all night.

I would never truck camp, there is nothing like a nice warm tent and cot when you’re tired after a day of chasing elk.
I need the comfies of home unless I’m packing my camp on my back…even then….

Question on the lifetime bonus points. I just did the ethically hunting course. Does this bonus point get added every year? Or is it a one time point? I’m tracking the bonus point from being a loyal customer is added every year with addition to the point you get once a year from applying. Thanks!

My understanding is it sticks even if you draw.

Both the hunter ed and the loyalty point are added to your species points for the draw. You will lose the loyalty point if you skip an application year, on a species basis.
You can see if they were applied by looking at the "application details" for a given species that you applied for. The species points will be under the "individual bonus points" header, all three if applicable, will be combined and shown as "group bonus points". Any party members points will also be added to the groups total and averaged, then rounded.
