Hopefully that's the case, and also that they are not going to thread 24 inch barrels or atleast offer some shorter ones as well.... but I'm not holding my breath

That was my first thought. They'll thread them, but they'll all be too long, which means you still have to cut and thread every tikka.

Of all the new gun stuff at shot this was the most interesting to me. I’m curious to see if they offer “standard” barrels for no fun states that aren’t allowed suppressors.

They are also threaded for a brake, but super weird. Doesn’t sound like he will offer it in any other variation.

I saw a Shot Show youtube video where the Tikka rep also said ALL rifles starting in 2025 would be threaded...

All the rifles on the wall were threaded.

I’m not up on thermal stuff.. is the swaro clip on of interest in that space? Seems like maybe only compatible with swaro scopes which isn’t very interesting to me.

Those are interesting but a “mini chassis” without bottom metal is kind of a head scratcher.

Manners does this. I have a couple of their stocks with the integrated mini-chassis and bottom metal. I also have a couple of the M5 mini-chassis where I just added my own bottom metal. I can't shoot the difference if there is any.

The difference is, it is better in my opinion to not have an integrated bottom metal that way I can choose to run a flush bottom metal or a badger bottom metal with barricade stop or a the new wizbang bottom metal that just came out at shotshow 2028

It has all the desirable features (big screen, 640 rez 60hz), but I don’t think there is a huge demand for clip ons in the US.

They apparently bought MTN Gear from New Zealand. I’ve got one and it is fantastic.
