Thank you all. It was great! I'll never forget the look on his face when he dropped his buck. Pure excitement and happiness.

@DeerCatcherUT/CO wrestling might just be his favorite thing. It is probably one of my favorite things to watch him do next to watching him learn to hunt. He's a pretty accomplished wrestler here in Utah. Still working on getting that edge at bigger out of state tournaments.

Got it done on my first archery mule deer tag in the Colorado high country. Arrowed him in the cliffs at 12,800ft then fell to about 12,000ft. He's a 4x4 but the fall shed his velvet and he actually lost his back forks on his right side as well. But was grateful to recover him and not lose any meat. Was an incredible experience!
