2025 Black Bear Hunt Fairbanks AK

Just found this page and see some fellow Wainwright members in here. I just moved to Fairbanks a week ago and am itching for a spot and stalk hunt for black bear. Anyone know what areas have good sightings come spring or anyone looking to show a brother the ropes.

Generally, posting specific locations on this site is bad practice. What I can tell you, is I have seen many of bears within a days trip of Fairbanks.

If you are looking for a hunting partner the “Rally Point” forum section is your most appropriate selection for your search.
As above, asking for certain game locations (or giving locations) is not encouraged on the forum (putting it mildly…).
Fish & Game is a great resource as mentioned. Find some buddies that have hunted the interior, and/or use google earth, OnX, or similar to e-scout.
Reasonable population of bears to hunt & good luck on your black bear quest!

There are very few black bears around Delta as the over abundant grizzlies have em killed off. Deltoids that want to hunt black bears usually go South of Glenallen.
