Anything short & light that would compete with the Scythe or Enticer S Ti for around the same price range?Yes.

...bonus points if it's made in my home state.
Have you checked out pewscience.com ? It all depends what you’re willing to give up. For the quietest suppression available it’s generally going to be longer. I have a CAT JL titanium which is phenomenal- but it’s long. I’d personally be willing to give up a little length for slightly reduced suppression. Even with a 20” barrel, my gun is a bit longer than I’d care for.The real question for me is: is there anything noticeably quieter/lighter than what I already have? After setting my ultra 7, lti and scythe, I just sort of lost interest in shopping for silencers. Is there anything coming out that’s going to be an honest upgrade or addition to what I have.
Made for hunting rifles sounds just fine to me. My only can currently is a Dead Air Nomad LT. I'd like to get something shorter, like 6 inches or under.Completely different. Made specially for hunting rifles.

Over the barrel, 4 inches added OAL. 10’ish ounces. Very good tone.
For sure, all my rifles now are 18”, I have a good selection of silencers already, banish 30, TBAC ultra 7, DD enticed lti, scyth, mask 22, banish 22. I guess I just don’t see anything out there that is compelling enough to make another purchase, I suppose a DD Sti would be cool but it dosent seem like there’s anything out there that would fill a role I can’t fill already.Have you checked out pewscience.com ? Jay does a good job of putting a lot of data out there so you can make an informed decision - without pushing you into one suppressor or another
Interesting. Reflex suppressors are definitely more popular outside of the states- but as far as I know generally have lower performance compared to the typical ones (and my only experience is with the m110) But maybe tech has changed to push those gases back and deliver some good performance.Over the barrel, 4 inches added OAL. 10’ish ounces. “Lower performance” compared to what?
Sounds a lot like the old GAP Jaeger (except maybe the tone part, I never did get to see/hear one of those in person).Over the barrel, 4 inches added OAL. 10’ish ounces. Very good tone.
Timely topic for me as I had only an ultra 7 for several years. I just got one of the newer style of cans from LPM (Mach L) and there's a huge difference. I have 300 blackout in addition to hunting rifles and there's just no comparison to the ultra 7. One sounds like a typical suppressed gunshot while the other sounds like an action cycling. Bullet impact 50 yards away is the loudest part of the affair (subsonic). The real question for me is: is there anything noticeably quieter/lighter than what I already have? A combination of Pew Science reviews and TBAC's suppressor summits is HIGHLY informative. Pew Science will leave you with the impression that some cans are too good to be true in terms of suppression, but it's true. They don't evaluate POI shift or effect on group size, and that's a consideration. The new Vent 1 is reported to cause some inconsistency in one reddit comment I saw. I will test it out when I get mine, and it won't be on a hunting rifle if that's the case. The Ultra 7 has been flawless in that regard, and only ever resulted in tighter groups. TBAC Magnus is still close enough to the new kids on the block that I would have bought one if I wanted to wait for it.
All of the above having been said, for a hunting gun firing a few shots, who cares? I'm keeping my ultra 7 on my 300wm. I'm not one of these guys who is shooting an elk 14 times just because it decides to keep standing until it dies.
The biggest upside of the new tech is that it can work well for both super and subsonic--probably not a huge consideration for rokslide applications.

Interesting consideration. I say the following out of genuine curiosity: I wonder if there are any examples of a suppressor having a positive impact on groups in one application and a negative in the other. Like results that more than one person repeated on more than one occasion. The difficulty in evaluating POI or effect on group size is that you only evaluate that specific barrel/suppressor combination with that ammunition. So the test can’t be produced for every single available combo - which could lead to unmet expectations on the user end.
To your point - most of the performance as it relates to hunting contexts are irrelevant. I will still use the rugged suppressors I have on different platforms (one sitting on my 223 tikka). But I genuinely enjoy the recent advances in suppressors -use of 3d titanium printing for example. I mean if you have recent suppressors it is likely not a huge jump. But the performance of my first suppressor (sandman s) is certainly much worse than my recent experience with CATs, CGS’s, liberty etc. line of suppressors (like your experience above)
From having a raptor, the reflex does quiet it down, but it doesn’t seem efficient. Weight goes up fast. The reflex is 2-3x the weight as adding baffles. If you weigh a 8 stack with 3 or 5” reflex it’s heavier than a 10 stack no reflex yet performance is similar. The only advantage is that it’s shorter.Thread on, non-reflex, large volume suppressors (insert manufacturer here).
I’m more familiar with the suppression and signature reduction, and the more recent push for flow through. My current job gives me a lot of access to industry to suit our specific needs (which admittedly is not hunting), but none of the current options we are exploring are reflex suppressors. The only system we have a reflex suppressor for is the m110, and that’s just legacy tech at this point.
If you have specifics that show reflex suppressors perform as well or better, happy to hear different for sure.
