First time taking an animal with my bow and first time breaking down an Animal solo. Spirits were high but legs we shot! Hopefully spend every September possible with a bow in my hand out west. I'm hooked
Wyoming 2024. Had some cool classic type pics of 2 bulls back at the wall tent, but figured the rokstok/tikka/maven gun combo might get me some WKR points!
This is my first bull (4th season hunting) taken in southern Colorado this year on Sept 20th. I called him in to 23yds for a broadside shot. He turned and walked 44 yds and piled up.
Wouldn't let me upload the one I wanted due to format. But here's my 2024 public land archery bull. I even forgot my lucky hat! Guess I didn't need it. Haha
Utah Monroe unit, 10/07, my first elk, 500 yard shot and first round dropped him before he could run into an unpleasant draw. Didnt die much more than 2 miles from truck but still much more fun to pack out on horses!
